Broke Bass previewed the forthcoming Immersion system for professional sound therapy at the Mind, Body & Spirit Festival in Birmingham — gathering direct feedback from both practitioners and participants to shape the final product.
Immersion uses a surround sound speaker array to deliver consistent sound therapy across large spaces beyond acoustic reach, and unlocks sequencing and spatial motion control of audio within the array. Attendee feedback drove a new standalone control software version with foot pedal and hand sensor integration, plus dedicated DAW plugins for greater flexibility.
Commercial launch is planned for Q3 2026 via Scan Pro Audio, available in full packages with ADAM Audio speakers and Novation controllers.

Broke Bass Ltd is a Hyde-based professional audio services company led by Tom Francis — an audio industry specialist with over two decades of experience spanning plugin development, hardware design, retail strategy, and artist partnerships.
We work directly with manufacturers, distributors, and technology brands to develop commercial audio tools and market strategies that cut through. Our work is grounded in real studio experience and deep technical knowledge — not just theory.
From the concept stage of a DAW plugin to a full retail distribution rollout, we bring the same rigour and attention to detail that defines great audio engineering.
What We Do
Concept, design, and delivery of commercial audio plugins. We collaborate with hardware manufacturers to create companion software tools that extend product value and drive adoption among professional users.
Strategic guidance for audio and music technology brands entering or expanding in the UK retail market. From category positioning to artist endorsement, we connect products with the right audience.
Specification and design of custom workstations for professional audio. We've designed artist-signature systems for internationally recognised guitarists and producers in collaboration with 3XS by Scan.
UK market entry and awareness campaigns for international audio hardware brands. We established Audeze planar magnetic headphones within the UK pro-audio community over a decade of targeted outreach.
Design and management of professional digital archival systems. Past work includes full infrastructure build for a specialist tape restoration and transfer facility, serving legacy label archives including ZTT Records.
Technical content creation, product demonstrations, and editorial for audio brands. Previous clients include Intel, for whom Tom served as judge and content contributor during a major CPU product launch campaign.
Selected Work
Co-developed with the ADAM Audio engineering team, the H200 Headphone Utility Plugin is a companion DAW tool for the H200 reference headphone — providing room simulation, EQ correction, and monitoring presets directly within the user's DAW environment.
Broke Bass contributed concept design, UI/UX direction, and retail integration strategy — ensuring the plugin serves both professional engineers and the commercial market.
Hardware
ADAM Audio H200
